It literally makes no sense to not make the demo Medical, which has hours of content, just a partial load of the main release so saves can transfer after purchasing the main game. I assumed that such a giant level with so much content for a demo would have save continuity especially considering how we've had partial downloads for a long time now.Īre you not aware of how PlayStation games can be downloaded at 10% and allow playing of the first level? The idea of only downloading part of a game to get started or play a demo is not new.

I didn't KNOW the existing demo build is a year older than the current release because I haven't been following the project and wasn't even aware of its existence until just before release. The demo has a lot of content, way more than any other demo I've played.Īnd again, like I just said, if I had KNOWN it was a different version then I wouldn't have put in so much time getting all items and vaporizing in the demo.

A save transfer wouldn't really work because items are moved and the level design changed quite a bit. Only multiplayer focused betas tend to have such a thing and those are rare even.Īnd the demo, as I said, is a much older version of the game.
